Heartsaver® First Aid CPR+AED

The Heartsaver® First Aid CPR+AED course provides first responders with training in basic first aid — including the first aid skills recommended by OSHA and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation knowledge and skill for pulseless victims.

The course covers:

  • First Aid Basics: Ensuring Safety , detecting the problem and calling for help protocol etc as well as:
  • Medical Emergencies: Choking, Allergy reaction, Stroke,
  • Heart Attack,
  • Diabetic Emergency
  • Epilepsy Management
  •  Environmental Emergencies:
  • Animal Bites/ Stings
  • Hypothermia Heat Cramps /Exhaustion/
  • Stroke 
  • Injury Emergencies: Bleeding, burns, Broken bones, Electrical Shock Management etc
  • Adult, Child & Infant CPR AED

    -Recognition of Cardiac Arrest

    -Conducting Adequate Chest compression

    -Giving Adequate breath

    -Resuscitation in Special conditions

  • Use of AED in Adult, Child & Infant

  • Management of Choking in Conscious and unconscious victim in adult Child and Infant Chokin

  • Calling for help protocol

who is the course for?

The Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED course is intended for all individuals who have a duty to respond to a first aid or cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, including:

  • Administrative Officers

  • Bank Officers

  • HSE Officers

  • Machine operator

  • Site Engineer

  • Security and airline personnel

  • Camp counselors

  • Drivers

  • Police and firefighters

  • Day-care workers

  • Aerobics teachers/physical- fitness trainers

  • Other individuals who want or need first-aid training

The instructor-led course is approximately 2 days with skills testing by an American Heart Association instructor during the course.
