The ECG & Pharmacology course is designed for healthcare professionals who participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, and others who require this specialized knowledge for their job. The course is divided into two modules, which can be taught together or separately.
This course covers:
- basic electrophysiology
- normal ECG measurements
- basic arrhythmias
- the administration of appropriate drugs within the ACLS algorithms
Course length is 3.5 hours for the ECG module, 2.75 hours for the Pharmacology module, and 6.25 hours for both modules.
